GOD PURIFIES HIS BELOVED
SERVANTS
Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. (Psalm, 51:2)
... Wash the evil from your heart and be saved. How long will you har-
bor wicked thoughts? (Jeremiah, 4:14)
So Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him, “Get rid of
the foreign gods you have with you, and purify yourselves and change your
clothes.” (Genesis, 35:2)
They will no longer defile themselves with their idols and vile images or
with any of their offenses, for I will save them from all their sinful back-
