He will guard the feet of His faithful servants, but the wicked will be si-
lenced in the place of darkness. (1 Samuel, 2:9)
Righteousness will be his belt and faithfulness the sash around his waist.

Love the Lord, all His faithful people! The Lord preserves those who are
true to Him… (Psalm, 31:23)
For the Lord loves justice and will not abandon His faithful ones. They
are kept safe forever… (Psalm, 37:28)
… He promises peace to his people, his faithful servants—but let them
not turn to folly. (Psalm, 85:8)
Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for He guards the lives of His faith-
ful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. (Psalm, 97:10)
May your priests be clothed with righteousness; may Your saints sing for
joy... I will clothe her priests with salvation, and her saints will ever sing
for joy. (Psalm, 132:9, 16)
All Your works praise You, Lord; Your faithful people extol You.
(Psalm, 145:10)
Praise the Lord. Sing to the Lord a new song, His praise in the assem-
bly of His faithful people. Let His faithful people rejoice in this honor and
sing for joy on their beds. (Psalm, 149:1-2,5)
And if in a truthful, just and righteous way you swear, ‘As surely as the
Lord lives’…(Jeremiah, 4:2)
See, he is puffed up; his desires are not upright—but the righteous will
live by his faith. (Habakkuk, 2:4)
