52 L LOVE IN THE TORAH
GOD HELPS THE BELIEVERS
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let Your glory be over all the earth.
Save us and help us with Your right hand, that those You love may be de-
livered. (Psalm, 108:5-6)
Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for He guards the lives of his faith-
ful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. (Psalm, 97:10)
But it was because the Lord loved you and kept the oath He swore to your
ancestors that He brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you
from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
(Deuteronomy, 7:8)
Those who know Your name trust in You, for You, Lord, have never for-
saken those who seek You. Sing the praises of the Lord… proclaim among
the nations what He has done. (Psalm, 9:10-11)
I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With Him at my right hand, I will not
be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also
will rest secure, because You will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,
nor will You let your faithful one see decay. You make known to me the
path of life; You will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleas-
ures at Your right hand. (Psalm, 16:8-11)
In you, Lord my God, I put my trust. I trust in You… Show me your ways,
Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you
are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. (Psalm, 25:1-4,
5)
