48 L LOVE IN THE TORAH

THOSE WHO DO GOOD

WILL EARN THE LOVE OF

GOD

Do not those who plot evil go astray? But those who plan
what is good find love and faithfulness. (Proverbs, 14:22)

Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the Lord
God Almighty will be with you, just as you say He is.
(Amos, 5:14)

He who seeks good finds goodwill, but evil comes to him
who searches for it. The fruit of the righteous

is a tree of life, and he who wins souls
is wise. (Proverbs, 11:27, 30)

Turn from evil and do good; seek peace
and pursue it. (Psalm, 34:14)

Turn from evil and do good; then you will dwell in the
land forever. (Psalm, 37:27)

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun
evil. This will bring health to your body and nourish-
ment to your bones. (Proverbs, 3:7-8)

Hate evil, love good... (Amos, 5:15)
