82 L LOVE IN THE TORAH

                    BELIEVERS DO NOT FALTER OR

DESPAIR IN THE FACE OF ANYTHING

DUE TO THEIR LOVE FOR GOD

For the king trusts in the Lord; through the unfailing love of the Most High
he will not be shaken. (Psalm, 21:7)

Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing can make them
stumble. I wait for Your salvation, Lord, and I follow Your commands. I
obey Your statutes, for I love them greatly. (Psalm, 119:165-167)

If Your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.
I will never forget Your precepts, for by them You have preserved my life.

remain in the land. (Proverbs, 10:29-30)

Surely You have granted him unending blessings and made him glad with
the joy of Your presence. For the king trusts in the Lord; through the un-
failing love of the Most High he will not be shaken. (Psalm, 21:6-7)

Nehemiah the governor, Ezra the priest and teacher of the Law, and the
Levites who were instructing the people said to them all, “This day is holy
to the Lord your God. Do not mourn or weep.” (Nehemiah, 8:9)

Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some
to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not
