82 L LOVE IN THE TORAH
BELIEVERS DO NOT FALTER OR
DESPAIR IN THE FACE OF ANYTHING
DUE TO THEIR LOVE FOR GOD
For the king trusts in the Lord; through the unfailing love of the Most High
he will not be shaken. (Psalm, 21:7)
Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing can make them
stumble. I wait for Your salvation, Lord, and I follow Your commands. I
obey Your statutes, for I love them greatly. (Psalm, 119:165-167)
If Your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.
I will never forget Your precepts, for by them You have preserved my life.
(Psalm, 119:92-93)
When I felt secure, I said, “I will never be shaken.” (Psalm, 30:6)
The way of the Lord is a refuge for the blameless, but it is the ruin of those
who do evil. The righteous will never be uprooted, but the wicked will not
remain in the land. (Proverbs, 10:29-30)
Surely You have granted him unending blessings and made him glad with
the joy of Your presence. For the king trusts in the Lord; through the un-
failing love of the Most High he will not be shaken. (Psalm, 21:6-7)
Nehemiah the governor, Ezra the priest and teacher of the Law, and the
Levites who were instructing the people said to them all, “This day is holy
to the Lord your God. Do not mourn or weep.” (Nehemiah, 8:9)
Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some
