LOVELESSNESS BRINGS CONFLICT
WHILE LOVE IS FORGIVING
Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs. (Proverbs, 10:12)
Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of the
Lord evil is avoided. (Proverbs, 16:6)
Whoever would foster love covers over an offense, but whoever repeats
the matter separates close friends. (Proverbs, 17:9)
A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an of-
fense. (Proverbs, 19:11)
Do not say, “I’ll do to them as they have done to me; I’ll pay them back
for what they did.” (Proverbs, 24:19)
