Ablution (Wudu)

Make a bronze ba sin, with its bronze stand, for wash ing.
Place it be tween the Tent of Meeting and the al tar, and put
wa ter in it. Aaron and his sons are to wash their hands and
feet with wa ter from it. Whenever they en ter the Tent of

Meeting, they shall wash with wa ter... Also, when they ap -
proach the al tar to min is ter by pre sent ing an of fer ing made to
the Lord... they shall wash their hands and feet... This is to be
a last ing or di nance for Aaron and his de scend ants for the gen -
er a tions to come. (Exodus, 30:18-21)

Bring Aaron and his sons to the en trance to the Tent of Meet-

ing and wash them with wa ter... He placed the ba sin be tween
the Tent of Meeting and the al tar and put wa ter in it for wash -
ing, and Moses and Aaron and his sons used it to wash their
hands and feet. They washed when ev er they en tered the
Tent of Meeting or ap proached the al tar, as the Lord com -
mand ed Moses. (Exodus, 40:12, 30-32)
