WISDOM AND SOUND ADVICE FROM THE TORAH
With praise and thanks giv ing they sang to the Lord... And
all the peo ple gave a great shout of praise to the Lord... (Ezra,
3:11)
... But Hezekiah prayed for them, say ing, "May the Lord, Who
is good, par don ev ery one who sets his heart on seek ing
God—the Lord, the God of his fa thers—even if he is not clean
ac cord ing to the rules of the house." (2 Chronicles, 30:19)
My words come from an up right heart; my lips sin cere ly
speak what I know. The Spirit of God has made me; the
breath of the Almighty gives me life. (Job, 33:3-4)
