Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures fo-

But You, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God...

... "I am merciful," declares the Lord... (Jeremiah, 3:12)

The Lord is righteous in all His ways and loving toward all He
has made. The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who
call on Him in truth. (Psalms, 145: 17-18)

Turn to me and have mercy on me, as You always do to those
who love Your name. Your compassion is great, O Lord; pre-
serve my life according to Your laws. (Psalms, 119:132, 156)

He has caused His wonders to be remembered; the Lord is
gracious and compassionate. (Psalms, 111:4)
