PLAN YOUR
PLAN YOUR
The primary goal of this exercise is for you to go through a
self discovery journey with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, at
the end of which you should have a well prepared plan for the
week ahead.
For this week, we will be planning your week of relaxation.
Having a relaxing week does not automatically mean that you
have no other tasks to do. What the plan does is to help settle
in your mind that the week ahead is going to be one of
relaxation; refreshing and renewing your strength.
This means that everything you do and decide to do will be
done from a place of ‘REST’. The week ahead will not be
rushed, it will not be contentious, or jam packed with
activities, and even if situations that usually have the ability to
disturb your peace present themselves, the process of
planning your relaxation week, would have already
established itself in your mind, so that it recognises anything
that will bring in disturbance and stress, and you will be quick
to reject it.
Whatever work or request is presented to you has to be
assessed on your boundaries for ‘REST’. You get to decide
whether you take on the work, and how much of it you take
on immediately, postpone or outright decline.
The main key to making your decisions, will be asking
questions. Questions that will allow you to clarify the scope of
work required of you. Knowing the scope of work will allow
you determine if the work can fit into your plan and not
jeopardize the time you have set aside for leisure.
