 Present the Institution’s Waste Management Program

a.1 Measures Adopted to ensure safety, security and hygiene and sanitation and waste
management on the campus.

The measures of hygiene and sanitations are:

1. Garbage cans/bags are placed in all resting/waiting areas. (Example kiosk, student
centers, canteen, in front buildings, and under the trees).
2. All comfort rooms provided with water containers and faucets with free-flowing water.
3. Proper waste disposal is being practice in the university all the time. Collection of garbage
is being done every Friday by garbage collector of the Local Government of Alfonso Lista,
Ifugao.
4. The student government is requested to implement the anti-littering policy as embodied

in their constitution and by-laws.
5. Signboards on waste disposal are placed in areas which are daily use by students
(example: comfort rooms, waiting areas, location of garbage).
6. Waste management committee of the campus is conducting a waste management
contest.

Measures adopted to ensure Safety and Security in the campus

1. The campus adheres to the Curfew hours set by the barangay council.
2. Involvement of the barangay Tanod and Police Officers of the Alfonso Lista Police
Station in patrolling the vicinity most especially at night time.
3. Strict implementations of the guidelines and policies set by the university in the

keeping peace and order inside the campus.

2. IMPLEMENTATION
 Describe the site where the Program is situated, including geographical location,
area, boundaries, etc.

The Campus is geographically located between 121°27’E and 121°29’E Latitude and

16°55’N and 16°51’N Longitude (See detailed map). IFSU Potia Campus is the only Tertiary School

in the municipality and it caters students not only from the place but also students from as far as

Barlig, Natonin, Paracelis of Mt. Province, Roxas, San Mateo, Aurora and other town in the

Province of Isabela and from Highland municipalities like of Mayoyao and Aguinaldo, this

province.
