Programming conditions

• Bonnet open – Catch open, car expects the bonnet open due to battery

charger connection!

• Both doors open – Catches rolled closed (Car status therefore ‘Closed’)

• Tailgate open – Catch rolled closed (Car status therefore ‘Closed’)

• Doors and tailgate pushed-to, preventing people climbing in!

• This process allows the diagnostic cable to be safely connected to the DLC

• If the programming ‘crashes’, this process also allows access to the battery

• Window initialisation in the follow-up procedure may fail and therefore have to

be re-done after the programming, from within the vehicle using ISTA
