The ear loops in the good luck knot can be arranged longitudinally and latitudinally
as in the pan chang knot, although they are tied according to the usual good luck knot
technique, to produce a new basic knot which has a pan chang knot body but, at the
same time, outer loops of varying sizes. This new basic knot is called the pan chang
good luck knot.

5. Changing the Shape and Reducing the Cords

The knot body of a pan chang knot is always formed by pulling and wrapping the ear
loops on all four sides, be it a triangular or a polygonal knot. The right cord end Hanging decoration made from a pan chang

The last side involves the “pull and wrap’” process. When a pan chang knot is made
using only three sides of its ear loops, there will be changes in the shape of the knot
