GIDDINGS William James
L/Cpl 15044 Northamptonshire Regiment
William was born in 1876 in Kings Cliffe to James and Rosiana
Giddings.
He is mentioned in the Dixon letter to Stamford & Rutland News
listing Kings Cliffe men in the New Army.
The family moved to Leeds when William was about 10 but he
returned to his birthplace before he married Rose Anna Herson
in May 1900. By 1911 they had four children and lived on Park
Street, Kings Cliffe.
