Introduction

Welcome to Banbury Aspirations Campus – we hope you have a happy and
successful time here.

This booklet is part of our induction process and we hope it is useful in

helping you to settle in. In this booklet you’ll find some useful information

as well as a reminder of who we are as an organisation.

Our campus

As you will know from your interview, we have two schools on our

campus: Wykham Park and Futures Institute. Both schools have pupils

from yr 7-13, however at Futures, only pupils from year 10 and 11 are FI
students, the others are WP students who have chosen to do a Futures

pathway. The schools have two distinct uniforms and some differences in

curriculum offer, however, in culture, teaching staff and SLT the two
schools are aligned. During your time with us, you may teach at both

schools.

Induction

Whether you start with us in September or during the year, we’ll have an
induction day to introduce you to the school. This is supported by

information in this booklet and on our CPD website, found here.

As part of induction, you’ll have a buddy who will work through the

induction checklist with you. You’ll also be observed within the first four
weeks of joining us by the VP or AP responsible for teaching and learning

along with your HoD so that we can have a clear idea of the skills you can

offer as well as any support that may be needed from us.
