Spring Challenge For All of Us
Spring is such a beautiful time of year, I mean let’s face it, RACING SEA- SON has started. With the fresh scent of gas as the cars heat up, to the smell of burnt rubber on the track, nothing is better than a beer in one hand, and a hot dog in the other, as I watch my favorite drivers cruise the track. As I sit here and write, all I can think about is how thankful I am to be where I am at in my life. We all have something to be thankful for, as I assume most of you it has to deal with racing.
For the next two months, I challenge you, go out and meet someone new, figure out what that person is thankful for in life. Share a memory with that person, let them know you care about them. Sometimes in life, the most precious things aren’t really things, they are the people we meet. Yes we love having our moning coffee, or watching our kids play sports, or even our racecars. But for me, having people to share those activites and memeories with is more important. From losing a relative the past few months, it makes you realize that life is short.
So for the next 60 days, go out and meet someone new. Do something you have never done before, and try something that you are afraid to do. Because we are not guaranteed tomorrow.......
