Deuteronomy 34 - 1-4
Then Moses climbed Mount Nebo from the plains of Moab to the top of Pisgah, across from Jericho. There the Lord showed him the whole land—from Gilead to Dan, all of Naphtali, the territory of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the Mediterranean Sea, the Negev and the whole region from the Valley of Jericho, the City of Palms, as far as Zoar. Then the Lord said to him, “This is the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob when I said, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross over into it.”

“When you get to the Promised Land, remember who you are Remember that He’s chosen you and brought you from afar
We spent decades in the wilderness, trudging here and there But now the Lord has blessed our lives, blessed us with his care.
So don’t forget the things you’ve learned, of faith and doing right That holy law is where God is, in a tabernacle of light
He’ll dwell with you, and keep you safe, he’ll shower you with love You only need to read His word, and worship Him above.
I fear that you won’t choose his ways, that you will wander off And then the Lord will punish you until you cry “enough” Then pray that He’ll be merciful and let you in his sight
For I have known His wrathful hand, His anger and His might
But ours, He is a loving God, whose mercy He extends
To all who will obey HIs law, repent and make amends
He called me to guide you, from a fire amongst some brush I know His face, I know His voice, it speaks amid the hush
So please be faithful as you come into the land he’s blessed
For if you live as He’s decreed, the way He says is best
You’ll grow and prosper, be content, your families will flourish
His blessings will enfold the land and his truth will you encourage
This is the wish I have for you, the future I have sought
That you would stand in righteousness, and live just as you ought So, go and take the land He’s given, plough and build and grow And leave me here, to lay me down, my time has come to go”
