You will now follow Queen St as it curves to the right to Station Rd and passes the railway station
on your l.
Pass underneath the ancient city wall and bear l. to remain on Station Rd.
Cross the river on to Museum St. York Minster is now dead ahead of you.
Parking: There are several car parks in the area around the railway station.
For a map of local parking buildings click here.
Bootham Row is probably the easiest to find and the closest to the minster.
Directions:
After passing the railway station cross the bridge over the River Ouse.
Take the next left after crossing the bridge, on to St Leonards Place (the local information Centre
will be on your right at the intersection).
Then left at the traffic lights on to Bootham (look for Betfred on the right and the old city walls on
your left).
Take the next right into Bootham Row – the Bootham Tavern is on your right as you make that
turn.
Bootham Row carpark is a short way along on the right. GPS 53.9637, -1.0857.
