THE ENEMY IN-A-ME

Intelligence, His Attributes, all His Possibilities, and His Love. Thus we
possessed the power of utilizing any or all of them, if necessary, for the
full complete expressing of His Divine Power, Love.

When He breathed into man His Breath, man became a living soul, [Genesis 2:7]
alive with Him; for then it was, that He breathed into man His Will—not from
the outside, but from within—from the Kingdom of Heaven, where always
He is. [Luke 17:21] And notice that it says that He breathed into man. When you
breathed in, you don’t blow into but take in, to inhale.

In this manner and for this reason alone did man come into human
expressing. This was the rst condition into which man awakened when he
came into earth expression, and it is what is called the Edenic state or

dwelling in the Garden of Eden.

While in human form, mans’ expression was where he totally looked to God
within for inspiration and guidance. This Garden of Eden represents that
state where man was still consciously one with God, though now con ned in
a mortal medium of expressing.

Most of the trouble that you go through is in your soulish man, which is your
mind, your emotions, your memory, your drive, will, and your appetite. If it
were not for those constant nagging ashbacks, those friendly reminders of
past days, there would be nothing to war against.

Your mind is trapped between the physical and the spiritual world, and each
force is trying to dominate the other one, because the mind of the esh with
its carnal thoughts and purposes that comes from sel shness is hostile to
God, for it does not submit itself to God’s Law; because it can’t. [Romans 8:7]

It's only when you receive the engrafted Word of God that you're able to
save your mind from the clutches of your esh, your pride, your will and your
spirit. [James 1:21] You need a balanced, temperate and a sober mind. It takes
you being vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the
devil, roams around like a lion roaring in erce hunger, seeking someone to
seize upon and devour. You need the renewing the Word of God gives you to
happen in your life. [Romans 12:2]
