THE ENEMY IN-A-ME
Then I began to hear the voice of the Lords messenger tell me how there
was war in heaven. Michael the Arc Angel and his angels fought against the
dragon and his angels. And the dragon lost the battle, and he and his angels
were forced out of heaven. This great dragon—the ancient serpent called
the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving and fooling the whole world—was
thrown down to the earth with all his angels. [Revelation 12:7-9] He was cast
down as quickly as a ash of lightening. [Luke 10:18]
He was the model of perfection, full of wisdom and exquisite in beauty and
perfect in his ways from the day that God created him, he was the
embodiment of created perfection. He was in Eden, the garden of God. He
was adorned with every precious stone—red carnelian, golden stone, white
moonstone, beryl, onyx, jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and emerald—all
beautifully crafted for him and set in the nest gold. They were given to him
on the day he was created. God created, ordained and anointed him as the
mighty angelic cherub, the guardian, the protector. He was given charge
over the angelic host where he led them in praise and worship continually
which was the covering over God’s Throne. His voice was as an orchestra with
percussion instruments, utes, horns, wind, string and voice. He hovered
over the Ark of the Covenant. He was given access to God’s Holy Mountain
and walked among the stones of re where the Glory of God manifest itself,
where God laid the stones with fair colors and laid the foundations with
sapphires. [Ezekiel 28:12b-14 & Isaiah 55:11]
He was the son of the morning, a bright star and the light bearer. [Isaiah
14:12] He was blameless in all that he did from the day he was created until
the day evil was found in him. [Ezekiel 28:15]
Then the Lords messenger began to tell me how Satan got lifted up on
account of his beauty and his heart became proud, and in his great pride he
claimed, “Iam a god! I sit on God’s divine throne ruling the sea”, that is
masses of people of every nation and language. [Revelation 17:15] He
regarded himself as wise and thought that no secret was hidden from him.
With his wisdom and understanding he amassed great wealth—gold and
silver for his treasuries. Yes, his wisdom made him very rich, and his riches
have made him very proud.
