                                                Apple Dapple Cake






                                                           3 eggs

                                                        3 cups flour

                                                      1 teaspoon salt

                                                    2 teaspoons vanilla


                                                        2 cups sugar

                                                   1 teaspoon cinnamon

                                               1 cup coarsely chopped nuts

                                               1‐1/2 cups butter flavored oil

                                                      1 teaspoon soda

                                               3 cups finely chopped apples

                                            Topping (recipe choices to follow)




               1. Cream together, eggs, sugar and oil.

               2. Sift together the flour, cinnamon, soda, and salt.

               3. Combine sifted and creamed mixtures and add nuts, apples and vanilla.

               4. Grease and flour 9 x 13 oblong pan lightly.

               5. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees but check sooner. My oven bakes it in 40 to 45 minutes

               6. Let cool.

               7. Pour on topping of choice. (recipes follow)
