                                                Kentucky Fried Corn

This is the original recipe, but if fresh corn is not in season, use Michael’s Cream Style Corn. It is the same yummy
recipe, but uses canned corn instead of fresh. Serves 6 (or maybe just 1)

8 to 9 ears fresh corn

                                                       1 stick butter

                                                        1/2 cup milk

                                                    3 tablespoons flour

                                                    2 tablespoons sugar

                      1. Cut corn from cob, making sure to scrape the pulp from the cob.

                      2. Melt butter in large iron skillet.

                      3. Add corn, flour, sugar and milk.

                      4. Cover and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

                                                     Love Me Some Corn

“I am not sure who loved this corn more, me or grandpa! He would scoop out a big pile of corn and then cut
a “just turning” tomato and a banana pepper on top. Then he would pour bacon grease over it. I ate mine
plain, so I could get in several servings before he had his doctored up to his liking. This was one of the most

requested recipes for the cookbook.” Earlene Davison Giglierano
