“One million percent” – HUB resources a deciding factor to winning
large Nebraska insurance account
John Sutton and his team from SilverStone Group are relatively new to the HUB family,
having joined HUB just over four months ago. They are not new, however, to
providing excellent customer service and best in class expertise to their clients and
were excited to access the depth and breadth of HUB’s resources to bring in new
business.
When Opportunity knocks - Existing EB client puts P&C business out to RFP
A new business opportunity presented itself when an existing EB client put their P&C business out to
RFP. The insured/prospect is a large insurance company that offers life insurance, financial services,
induvial investment products, and employee benefits, including group dental primarily. Having grown
to 10+ locations, they are proud of their history growing from a small local company to having over
four million customers across the US. The company sets a high standard for their operation,
committing to working hard for their customers, being good stewards, serving communities with
purpose and always operating in adherence to the highest ethical standards. Not surprisingly, their
expectations of an insurance broker were equally high.
The SilverStone team were keen to throw their hat into the ring despite not being experts in the
Financial Services space. In a moment of frankness following HUB’s winning the
business, Jeff Jorth, who handles the EB portion of the account, was told by the
client that they were uncertain if SilverStone had the resources to compete
successfully for their P&C business, and early on their expectations for the RFP
response were low.
