Cannabis Specialty Focus Unit : LIVE July 1, 2020
Due to the sensitive nature of the emerging Cannabis market in the US, implementing a
dedicated infrastructure by devoting a team of Cannabis experts to service our clients will
significantly reduce and protect HUB from any legal, regulatory compliance, E&O and
investor related issues. A streamlined and consistent approach to Cannabis business is vital
to our success as a Cannabis Specialty Practice and for the growth of our organization to be
the predominant broker in the Cannabis space.
Cannabis insurance is still very much a specialty play and will continue to be as insurance and
re-insurance carriers are hesitant to deploy their capacity stating a lack of experience and
actuarial data. We have tremendous producers and account executives that have years’ of
experience in the space and are rightfully credentialed as specialists and experts.
We are excited to announce that effective July 1, 2020, the Cannabis Specialty Focus Unit
(SFU) launched as a center of excellence to effectively market and service Cannabis-related
businesses. for the Cannabis SFU and as always,
please reach out to Jay Virdi, CSO of HUB’s Cannabis Specialty Practice if you have any
questions. *Remember this is US only*
