SOCIAL EMPOWERMENT
RESULTS
Karingani continues to focus on the livelihoods and social empowerment of its community partners. Despite
the limitations and restrictions of the global COVID-19 pandemic over this report period, we still managed
to focus available resources towards maintaining and improving the already completed community
infrastructure; maintaining data gathering; engagement and relationship building, as reported below. The
vision is to conduct an extensive community census in upcoming report periods that will measure baseline
data pertaining to the current livelihood, economic and socioeconomic status of all the communities
surrounding Karingani. The outcome of this census will be the driver of future initiatives to sustainability
enhance social capital and livelihood.
