Pedro Martinez Losa has named his first squad of 2023 as the Scotland Women’s National
Team begin preparations for the forthcoming UEFA Nations League at the Pinatar Cup.
The 25-strong group will fly to the team’s base camp at La Finca, where they will
prepare to face Iceland, Philippines and Wales in the tournament.
Lisa Evans, Christy Grimshaw and Emma Mukandi return after missing the last
squad, while Jamie-Lee Napier will be hoping to earn her first senior cap having been
involved with the senior squad previously.
Scotland will play Iceland in their opening match on 15 February, before facing up to
the Philippines three days later. The last group match will be against Wales on 21 February.
All games will be played at the Pinatar Arena with a 3pm kick off (2pm GMT).
The game against Iceland will be Scotland’s first since last November, when they
defeated Venezuela 2-1 in a friendly with goals from Kelly Clark and Claire Emslie, a match
which saw Brogan Hay win her first senior cap.
