London & South East League
Dartford went through to the quarter finals of the League Cup with a 3-1 extra time victory
over Millwall Lionesses, with Paris Smith (2) and Shauni Griffiths scoring their goals. Ceylon
Hickman and Rebecca May were on target as Dulwich Hamlet defeated Ebbsfleet Utd 2-0.
Sport London e Benfica claimed a top flight scalp, beating Aylesford 2-1 thanks to Renata
Ferreira and Sarah Goodman, whilst Sutton Utd came through a tricky tie away to Brentford
with a 2-1 victory, Lily Dent bagging a brace and Chloe Webb replying. Saltdean Utd ran out
4-0 winners away to Hackney, Molly Hill netting twice along with Georgia Bridges and Naomi
Robinson.
In the League Trophy, Katie Franks and Lauren Smith scored the goals as Newhaven
won 2-1 at New London Lionesses and Clapton Community were 1-0 winners over AFC
Acorns thanks to Marta Casanovas. Dulwich Hamlet Res claimed a 3-1 victory against
Denham Utd, with Rhia Benjamin, Rebecca Hirst and Alyssa Miranda netting a goal apiece,
whilst Leatherhead came away from Maidstone Utd with a 5-2 win under their belts, Ella
Bale scoring twice along with Ava Davenport, Ella Moxley and Lucy Hearn. Richmond & Kew
won a tight match 2-1 against Herne Bay, Indya Norton netting the winner to add to Tess
Adlam's earlier strike. Abbey Davies and Emily-May Diamond were the scorers as Ashford
Utd won 2-0 at Bexhill Utd.
One match was played in Division One South, Montpelier Villa moving themselves into
a mid-table position after a Saskia Taylor-Doyle double gave them a 2-1 victory over Steyning
Town Community, whose reply came from Abby Chriss.
North East League
Laura Hockaday led the scoring with a four-goal haul as Chester-le-Street Town doubled
their Premier Division lead to six points with victory over Harrogate Town. Isla Maggs and
Charlotte Proud each netted twice, with Elizabeth Clarke, Nichole Havery, Rachel Mellor and
Brogan Prudhoe also getting on the scoresheet. Eleanor Regan scored a hat-trick, along with
Nicole Dack, Michaela Sewell and an own goal, as Wallsend Boys Club defeated Blyth Town
to go second, ahead of South Shields who went down 3-1 to Sunderland West End, whose
markswomen were Jael Anderson, Allison Ferris and Olivia Inaloz. Wakefield follow on after
a Neve Renwick hat-trick, Charlotte Sales, Rebecca Hunt and Charlotte Blythe gave them a 6-3
success at Redcar Town, and Alnwick Town were 4-1 victors at Hull Utd thanks to Emily
Henderson, Megan Sprot, Chloe Young and Erin Belisle.
Wallsend BC Res have returned to the top of the Northern Division after Catherine
Shields and Hannah Gosnold steered them to a 2-0 win at Thornaby Ladies. They replace
Washington Women who, despite a goal from Hannah Dixon, shared a 1-1 draw with
Spennymoor Town who had earlier scored through Lily-Mae Jackson. Norton & Stockton
Ancients Res won a high scoring affair 8-4 against Bishop Auckland and this has taken
them up to third. Maddie Myers led the scoring for Norton with a six-goal haul, whilst the others
came from Robyn Wrigley and Katrina Pierce. Emma Wright hit a hat-trick but finished on the
losing side, Natasha Napier adding the other goal. Robyn Foster was on target for Hartlepool
Utd in their 1-1 draw against Chester-le-Street Utd, who netted through Talia Korucu,
meanwhile a Christine Murray hat-trick and Jessica Richardson double earned Gateshead FC
Ladies a 5-2 victory over Hartlepool Pools Youth. West Allotment Celtic picked up a
second win in three weeks, 3-0 against Guisborough Town courtesy of Chloe Flannaghan (2)
and Gabrielle McConnel.
Southern Division leaders Handsworth battled out a 2-2 draw with Farsley Celtic
Juniors but their three point lead remains intact. Jade Richards and Sydney Shugafi netted
their goals whilst Farsley's markswomen were Jasmin Cooper and Tara Nolan. Second placed
Barnsley FC Ladies also drew, sharing eight goals with Ossett Utd. Jodie Gregory (2), Lynn
Goodman and Phoebe Lodge all scored for Barnsley and Ossett replied via a Chelsea Schofield
brace, Emily Burgin and Debbie Hastings. Abby Watkinson scored the only goal of the game as
