meanwhile scored six without reply past Harworth Colliery, Emily Sharp bagging a brace
along with Natalie Dean, Cara Mahoney, Jamie Sugden and Naomi Malcolm. Sheffield Utd
Community Foundation claimed their second win of the season, beating Ripon City 4-1
with strikes from Shannon Coughlan (2), Tia Needham and Paige Wainwright.
North West League
Curzon Ashton held onto the leadership of the Premier Division, thanks to a 1-0 success away
to Mossley Hill, which completes a double over their opponents in successive weeks. Salford
City Lionesses defeated Blackburn Community SC 6-3 and remain two points behind in
second place. Fleetwood Town Wrens moved out of the bottom three after winning 1-0 at
Tranmere Rovers whilst West Didsbury & Chorlton and Crewe Alexandra battled out
a goalless draw.
Penrith AFC are back in the top three in Division One North, following their 7-2 victory
at Penwortham Town. Sarah Smith led the scoring with a hat-trick, Abbie Forster weighed in
with a brace and there was one each from Darcie Dixon and Carly Green. Accrington Stanley
remain three points behind Penrith in fifth after they defeated Bolton Wanderers 2-0.
One match was played in Division One South and it resulted in a change of leadership,
Runcorn Linnets taking over at the top after beating Bury AFC Women 3-2, despite Sinead
Nugent and Chloe Greenall scoring for the home side.
Darwen FC Women are through to the Third Round of the Argyle Sports Kit Plate
following a 2-1 win away to Altrincham. Joining them are FC United of Manchester who
defeated Sir Tom Finney 6-0. Lucy Adderley, Ellie Bradley, Katie Priest, Emma Gray and
Molly Wood gave Chester FC Women a 5-1 success at Carlisle Utd in their First Round tie
whilst Preston North End beat Morecambe by the same scoreline. Workington Reds
also advanced after Morgan McGrady and Sophie Birkett gave them a 2-1 win over Chorley
Women Development, who replied through Olivia Holling.
South West League
Bristol Rovers have gone to the top of the Premier Division after racing to a 4-0 win away to
Poole Town, Abi Todd was on target along with Laura Curnock and Abigail Hughes. They now
head the table on goal difference from Forest Green Rovers, who shared a goalless draw with
Liskeard Athletic, with Torquay Utd a single point behind in third. Esme Kilburn-
Thompson hit a hat-trick and Connie Pengelly the other as Torquay won 4-0 at Wootton
Bassett Town. Sherborne Town meanwhile received a blow to their challenge when they
were beaten 2-0 by Bishop's Lydeard, Caitlin Berry and Rosi Burford scoring to give their
team a fine result. Ilminster Town meanwhile came from two behind to win 3-2 against
Warminster Town, Abi Carslake netting twice and Abi Harrison the other to turn the game
around after the home side had led by two at the break with goals from Mia Blazey and Sophie
Kelly.
Oldland Abbotonians have taken over as leaders of the Northern Division for the first
time this season after coming from behind to beat local rivals Downend Flyers 2-1. Faith
Flynn fired Oldland in front midway through the first half but goals from Mollie Robbins and
Lucy Werrett turned things around to maintain Oldland's good run of form. St Vallier
meanwhile picked up a 2-1 victory over SGS Olveston Utd thanks to first half goals from
Emma Summerill and Keziah Welsh, before Rosanna Blacker pulled one back late on.
Pucklechurch Sports regained the leadership in the Eastern Division as they scored
nine times without reply past Middlezoy Rovers. Lily Farr and Sophie Sweet each hit a
hat-trick whilst Jess Frazer bagged a brace and Adele Hooper was also on target.
Sticker Women continue to set the pace in the Western Division, they won 4-2 at
Feniton with Tori Marks scoring all four goals, Hollie Stone and Mikaela Winkler replying for
the home side. Marine Academy Plymouth remain a point off the pace, Sam Drewery
netting six times in their victory over Bideford whilst Megan Boulton and Rebekah Rose
contributed braces and Elizabeth Overton was also on target. Saltash Utd completed a good
