A defeat in their last game of the season could not spoil the part for newly crowned Champions
Cliftonville Ladies as they lifted the trophy for the first time after the game. Caragh
Hamilton scored an injury time winner as runners-up Glentoran beat them 2-1, Joely
Andrews having earlier found the net and the Glens equalising through Vicky Carleton.
Crusaders Strikers finish third despite being beaten 1-0 in their final game by
Linfield, Rhyleigh Marks scoring the only goal of the game midway through the first half.
Lisburn Ladies’ first season in the top flight finished on a successful note as they ran
out 5-0 winners over Sion Swifts. Stacey Murdough was on target twice for Lisburn along

The tie of the Second Round in the FAW Women's Cup was won by Cardiff Met Women,
who defeated Swansea City 5-3 on penalties after the teams had battled out a goalless draw.
Stephanie Turner slotted home the winning kick for the Archers who have been drawn
at home in the quarter finals to Llandudno Ladies. Mari Gibbard was on target six times,
Louisha Doran weighed in with a brace and there was one each from Maddie Williams and
India Hassall as Llandudno enjoyed a much smoother passage, beating CPD Y Rhyl 1879
10-0.
Wrexham produced arguably the result of the round when they won 2-1 away to top
flight side The New Saints. Rebecca Pritchard and a Rosie Hughes penalty put Wrexham
two ahead in the opening quarter of the game and despite Lexie Harrison pulling one back
for TNS late on, they held on for a notable victory. Wrexham have been rewarded with a home
tie in the last eight against Aberystwyth Town, who were 2-0 victors at Connah's Quay
Nomads thanks to second half goals from 16-year-old Gwenllian Jones and Amy Jenkins.
Holders Cardiff City Women meanwhile eased themselves into the quarter finals
with a 5-0 victory over Pontypridd Utd. Rhianne Oakley led the scoring for the Bluebirds
with a hat-trick and the others came from Siobhan Walsh and Phoebie Poole. City will be at
home again to Abergavenny Women, who defeated Carmarthen Town 3-1. Lauren
Boyd, Eliza Atkins and Gracie Grosvenor were all on target for Abergavenny, with Ffion
Ashman replying.
Cardiff Wanderers are the last remaining team from outside the Genero Adran
League after they won 4-1 away to Pencoed Athletic BGC U19. Jade Hope netted two of
the goals along with Rachel Beare and an own goal, after Amber Thomas had given Pencoed
the lead midway through the first half. Wanderers have been drawn against Briton Ferry
Llansawel, guaranteeing that a team from outside the top flight will be in the semi finals.
Jess Denscombe led the scoring with a four-goal and Lowri Baker hit a hat-trick as Ferry ran
out 9-1 winners over Llanelli Town, Mollie Jones and Lucy Powell joining them on the
scoresheet whilst the visitors' consolation came from Charmian Martin.
