Gemma Grainger has announced her squad for Wales’ upcoming international challenge
       match against Finland in Spain.
Grainger has selected the same 26 players that represented Wales in the 2023 FIFA
Women’s World Cup play-offs last month – against Bosnia & Herzegovina and
Switzerland – where they came within touching distance of reaching a major tournament
       for the first time.
The fixture against Finland will take place at Pinatar Arena on Saturday 12th
November (KO 6.30pm GMT), with the camp providing Grainger and her squad with an
opportunity to reflect on the recent qualifying campaign, which saw them finish in second
place in their group behind France.
It will be Wales’ final camp of 2022, in a year that saw them play in front of a record
attendance, as 15,200 turned out for the FIFA Women’s World Cup play-off semi final
against Bosnia & Herzegovina at the Cardiff City Stadium in October, which they won 1-0
before a goal in injury time in extra time saw them beaten 2-1 by Switzerland in the
       Play-Off Final.
The match will be shown live on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website.
