The top of the table clash in the Western Division finished in a goalless draw, meaning that
Saltash Utd continue to head the table on goal difference from Feniton. Kirsty Brown netted both
goals for Budleigh Salterton as they shared a 2-2 draw with Sticker Women, who scored
through a brace from Ellisha Davey. Activate belatedly began their league campaign with a 7-1
victory over Bideford, Angela Heard hitting a hat-trick along with Wensday Wise (2), Catrin
Rickard and Stacey Tonkin.
Southern Region League
A goal midway through the first half from Lauren Brewer gave Bournemouth Sports a 1-0 win
away to Wycombe Wanderers and took them to the top of the Premier Division, with three
straight victories. They head the table by three points from four different teams, led by Abingdon
Utd after they defeated Abingdon Town 3-0 in their local derby. Molly Lygo-Jackson, Lauren May
and Amy Pipe all scored a goal apiece for United. Ascot Utd went down to their first defeat, beaten
1-0 by Eastleigh whose goalscorer was Catherine Browning, and Oxford City were also 1-0
winners over Winchester City Flyers.
Division One North leaders Kidlington were held to a 1-1 draw by Penn & Tyler's Green
and their advantage has been trimmed to two points. Sasha Smith was on target for Green, whilst
Courtney Sumner scored for Kidlington. Mollie Dyer, Sarah Saunders, Jessica Simons and Georgia
Winger accounted for the goals as Milton Utd won 4-3 away to Woodley Utd, a result which takes
them up to second place. Long Crendon and Caversham Utd battled out a goalless draw whilst
Eversley & California defeated Carterton Ladies 4-0, courtesy of doubles from Lauren
Broadhurst and Rebekah Pantony.
Badshot Lea saw their winning run halted in Division One South as they shared a 3-3 draw
with Rushmoor Community but they stay three points ahead at the top. Deanna Taylor, Lucy
Cook and Nicola Moore all scored for Badshot Lea whilst Rushmoor's markswomen were Natalia
Margilewska, Jade Nightingale and Emma Mutch as the division's two remaining unbeaten teams
fought out a six-goal thriller. Chichester City defeated Woking Ladies 5-0 and are up to second,
Elinor Williams scoring four of the goals and Katie Long the other. Olivia Peters netted twice and
Georgina Starkey the other as Selsey Women Development won 3-1 away to Abbey Rangers,
whose consolation came from Sya Dhoman.
West Midlands League
Worcester City continue to look strong in the Premier Division and their fourth straight win sees
them extend their lead to three points, winning 3-0 away to Crusaders. Carly Aldred scored the
only goal of the game as Sutton Coldfield Town moved into second place with a 1-0 win against
Lichfield City. Lauren Smith hit a hat-trick, with Naomi Melbourne and Dionne Williams adding
the others, as Solihull Sporting defeated Burton Albion 5-2 and Lye Town are off the mark,
winning 3-1 against Coundon Court thanks to Sian Johnson, Sunya Salim and Lafe Uche.
Port Vale are the new leaders of Division One North, they won 3-1 away to Wyrley Ladies
with goals from Macy Isherwood, Sian McHugh and Tara Harrison. They head the table on goal
difference from Walsall Ladies who beat Lichfield City Res 1-0 with a goal from Jasmin
Springer. Previous leaders Walsall Wood went down to a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Shifnal
Town, who are in third. Jenna Boddison hit a hat-trick for Shifnal, with Rebecca-Lee Bown also on
target. Jessica Nash was another hat-trick scorer, Laura Avery and Rachael Green adding the others,
for Darlaston Town in their 5-1 victory at City of Stoke and AFC Telford Utd won for the first
time, 2-1 against Tamworth with a brace from Jaime Duggan.
Demi-Lee Rolph scored a hat-trick and Samantha Smith the other as Division One South
leaders Knowle chalked up a fourth straight victory, 4-0 away to Kingfisher. Knowle continue to
lead the table by two points from Long Itchington, who scored six times without reply at
Westfields Women with Harriot Jones, Katie Murray, Shannon O'Donnell, Charlotte Rafferty,
Ellie White and Tyler Miller all on the scoresheet. Kirsty Farnsworth (2), Danielle Jackson and Jodie
McGuckin accounted for the goals as Coventry Sphinx defeated Bewdley Town 4-1 and Sedgley
& Gornal Utd edged out Leamington Lions 3-2 thanks to Nelia Christina Severin (2) and Stacey
Barbaccia. Rugby Town won 6-3 against Worcester City Development with Chloe Debaes
scoring a hat-trick, whilst Katie Andrews, Megan Free and Sara Lonsdale were also on target.
Droitwich Spa also won for the first time, 2-1 away to Rugby Borough with strikes from Libby
Drapier and Sinead O'Mahony.
