Club legend Kelly Smith has joined the Arsenal first team coaching set up until the end of the
       season.
Regarded as one of the most prolific strikers of her generation, Kelly won four league titles
and five FA Cups during three spells with us and will provide invaluable experience and expertise.
She will be working with the squad a couple of times a week at this crucial stage of the
season and will be in the technical area for the UEFA Women’s Champions League semi final
       against VfL Wolfsburg on Monday.
It’s not the first time Kelly has returned to the club in a coaching capacity, as she has
recently been working at their girls’ academy while completing her A License with the PFA.
"After speaking with Jonas and Clare it was a really easy decision to join the coaching set
up here,” Kelly told www.arsenal.com. “The club have been really supportive in helping me
complete my A License and take the next step in my own post-playing career.
“It's an exciting time to become part of this team - we've seen over the past few weeks just
how resilient and together they are and I’m looking forward to working with them more closely
on and off the pitch at this key point in the season.
“I love this club and it’s such a great feeling to be wearing the Arsenal badge once more.”

Bitton Ladies have won the Gordon Perrett League Cup after beating Cirencester Town 6-2
in the Final at the Corinium Stadium. The Division Two side gave a good account of themselves
but title chasing Bitton were just too strong on the day and scored through Abbie Woodley-
Marshall, Edie Hopton, Anna Munday, Hayley Honeywell, Leanne Passaway and Caitlin Hale,
whilst Ciren's replies came from Anna Margetts and Eden Marsh.
On Wednesday night, Bitton built on their Cup success to run out 4-0 winners away to
Cheltenham Saracens and step up their title challenge. Abbie Woodley-Marshall
spearheaded the win by hitting a hat-trick and Caitlin Hale was also on target. Bristol & West
had kept their hopes alive of a top three finish as goals from Aimee Clark, Sarah Rouse and Beth
Clatworthy gave them a 3-0 victory over Abbeymead Rovers. Another midweek game saw
Michelle Watson score the only goal of the game as Dursley Town won 1-0 at Bishop's
       Cleeve.
Cheltenham Civil Service have stepped up the pace at the top of Division Two, first as
doubles from Jessica Brown and Gemma Riley, plus a Kaydee Wheeler goal, gave them a 5-2
success away to Longlevens which they followed up with a 2-0 midweek victory over
Gloucester City Development, taking them four points clear. Whitchurch & Bristol
meanwhile kept their hopes alive by beating City of Gloucester 6-1, thanks to a Hannah Gillett
hat-trick, Holly Longman, Clara Romero-Collins and Ashley Taylor. Beth Smith and Miranda
Smith both netted twice and Chloe Morgan the other for Gloucester City Development in
their 5-1 victory against Downend Flyers Res, whose consolation came from Brooke Moore.
Cirencester Town put their League Cup Final disappointment behind them to win 5-0 against
