Division One champions AFC Bentley go into their final game of the season looking to remain
unbeaten in the League. They dropped their first away points when drawing 3-3 away to
Brunsmeer Athletic in midweek. Bentley’s trio of goals came from Gemma Harte (2) and an
opponent, while Millie Kenyon (2) and Niamh McKevitt were on target for the hosts. Brunsmeer
had prevailed when the teams met in the Cup Final a few days earlier, winning 3-1 when Kenyon
was also on the mark, along with Lucy Damms and Zara McLean. Beckey Kendell replied for
Bentley. At the bottom of the table, Middlewood Rovers were 3-1 winners over Wakefield
AFC Res to move on to eight points - the same as Barnsley (Women) Development. Grace
Mitchell (2) and Becky Walstow were the scorers in that midweek win, Nicole Moffatt with the
Wakefield consolation. Middlewood were beaten 2-0 at Kiveton Park three days previously,
