East Midlands League
The last match of the season in the league was played on Thursday night and Premier Division
runners-up Lincoln Utd completed their campaign with a 4-1 victory against Anstey
Nomads. Ellie Gilliatt hit a hat-trick and Tracey Duxbury-Mead added the other goal for
Lincoln who have finished up six points behind Champions Notts County, and have a chance

       this Sunday.
       Eastern Region League
AFC Sudbury landed the Premier Division title in style, running out 5-0 winners away to
King’s Lynn Town. Sophie Jeffrey was on target twice along with Miagh Downey, Holly
Kennard and Ashtyn Newley, to put Sudbury beyond the reach of the chasing pack. The race for
second place is now on and is led by Stevenage Women and Needham Market are still in
with a chance but Luton Town will get there if they win their remaining games, and they stay
on course after an Ellie Sergeant brace and Jess McKay took them to a 3-0 victory at Bowers
& Pitsea. In the other game, Wroxham notched up a 3-0 win against Royston Town thanks
       to a Hannah Waters hat-trick.
Biggleswade Utd picked up the result they wanted to secure the runners-up spot in
Divbision One North with a huge victory over Yaxley Phoenix. Tashai Simms led the scoring
with a six-goal haul whilst Marilyn Munangatire and Thea Black each hit hat-tricks, Nivola
Henman contributed a brace and Kayleigh Gray was also on target. St Ives Town did their best
but despite a 5-3 win against Newmarket Town, will have to settle for third place. Annie
Posnett bagged a hat-trick for St Ives and she was joined on the scoresheet by Koren Evans and
Georgia Stancombe with Abbie Corbyn (2) and Katie Walker replying.
       London & South East League
Although they trail leaders Ebbsfleet Utd by four points, Worthing FC Women still have
matters in their hands in the Premier Division after beating Sutton Utd 6-0. The Sussex side
need to win their remaining three games to be sure of the title and they remain on course thanks
to a Gemma Worsfold double, Chloe Winchester, Samantha Quayle, Rebecca Bell and Georgia
Tibble. Saltdean Utd have had a good season and they can still finish in the top four after
Georgia Bridges and Caitlin Sullivan earned them a 2-0 win away to Dartford. Chloe Burr and
an own goal gave Millwall Lionesses a 2-1 victory over Dulwich Hamlet, who replied
through Luna Alves Etienne, whilst AFC Acorns continued their good finish to the season with
a 2-0 success away to Aylesford, Chloe Higham and Abi Kinght scoring their goals.
The Division One North title race will go down to the wire and Dorking Wanderers are
in the driving seat following their 3-1 victory at Watford Development. Charlotte Keenan
netted twice and Gemma Shepherd added the other for Dorking, with Rebecca Lovelace
replying. The result means that a win in their last game means that Dorking will have clinched
the title whilst Brentford will be waiting to capitalise on any slip ups, they kept their hopes
alive by beating Whyteleafe 2-1 thanks to a Chloe Logie double, Olianna Bishop netting a
consolation for the home side. Richmond Park had a good day with maximum points from a
double header with Dulwich Hamlet Res. Lauren Hawkley and Nika Persson scored the
goals to give them a 2-1 victory in the first meeting and Richmond also won the second match
2-1, Hawkley was on target again along with Indya Norton.
There was another twist in Division One South where table toppers Ashford Utd went
down to only their second defeat of the season, beaten 2-1 by Welling Utd. The victory means
that Welling move up to within one point of Ashford but they have completed their fixtures and
Ashford need to win one of their last two games to make sure of the title. Ellie Cole and Grace
Laverick scored the goals for Welling, who must wait and see if Hastings Utd can overhaul
them for runners-up, whilst Ashford’s consolation came from Jade Steadman.
