Genero Adran League

Cardiff Met Women have held on to top spot in the Premier Division after they won 4-0
       away to Barry Town Utd.
Met got off to a great start with two goals scored inside the opening eighteen minutes,
thanks to Emily Allen and Taylor O’Leary, and after Laura May Walkley had made it three
early in the second half, Emily Richards rounded off the scoring with eight minutes left.
Met therefore hang on to the leadership on goal difference from Cardiff City
Women, who were 2-1 winners against Pontypridd Town. Megan Saunders gave City a
third minute lead, which was cancelled out just after the quarter hour by Niamh Tinman.
Saunders then netted her second goal midway through the second half and it was enough to
earn City a fifth win in six matches.
Port Talbot Town meanwhile continued their improving win with a second win on
the trot, 2-0 against The New Saints. Both goals came in the last few minutes of the game,
Coryn Sexton putting Port Talbot in front and Freya Davies wrapping up the win in injury
       time.
The other match was postponed due to Swansea City being involved in the FAW
Women’s Cup and they booked their place in the last sixteen with a convincing victory over
Coed Duon, which was led by a six-goal haul from Chloe Chivers. Swansea will be away to
Cardiff Wanderers in the last sixteen.
The North and South division team were involved in the latest round of group matches
in then Genero Adran Trophy over the
       weekend. PREMIER DIVISION P W D L F A Pts GD
