Park Rangers continued their upsurge as strikes from Demi Edwards and Eshe Davies gave
then a 2-1 win against Denham Utd.
Division One North leaders Hackney did not play and their advantage has been
trimmed to six points by Clapham Utd after they won 4-2 away to Phoenix Sports. Sophie
Walker netted twice for Clapham along with Letitia Campous-Lennon and Asia Brown. New
London Lionesses and Sutton Utd are in the next two positions and both are still unbeaten
after their meeting finished in a goalless draw. Watford Development got off the mark and are
off the bottom after beating Victoire Ladies 3-2, Ciara Purdue netting twice along with Hannah
McCorkindale.
Herne Bay maintained their three point lead in Division One South by winning 2-1
away to Newhaven. Lauren Harris and Lauren Williams scored the goals for Bay who lead from
Crawley Wasps DS, 2-0 victors away to Parkwood Rangers thanks to a brace from Priscilla
Martins. Chloe Nye (2), Lottie Sharp and Brooke Nicholson-Rogan were the markswomen for
Lewes Foundation Squad as they defeated Hassocks 4-0.
North East League
Things are really tight at the top of the Premier Division with just a single point covering the top
five teams. Hartlepool Utd hold on to the leadership on goal difference following their 2-2 draw
with Alnwick Town, who are one point behind. Justine Robinson bagged for Pools, whilst
Alnwick scored through Amy Lawson and Michelle Stewart. Sophie Tinson was on target for
second placed York City as they drew 1-1 with Ossett Utd, whose goal came from Jordane
Allison. Wallsend Boys Club complete a trio level on points at the top after Emma Hewett (2),
Rebecca Hansen and an own goal gave them a 4-1 victory over South Shields. Rosie Gill netted
twice along with Beth Jennings and Nat Eustance as Harrogate Town defeated Sheffield
Wednesday 4-0 to move one point off the pace. Redcar Town meanwhile notched up their first
win, 5-1 away to Farsley Celtic courtesy of braces from Jenny Dixon and Jess Round, with
Kenzie Parkes also on target.
Lumley Ladies restored their three point lead in the Northern Division after Sarah
Hutchieson, Jamie Sugden and Jade Fenton gave them a 3-1 victory over Chester-le-Street
Town Development. Boro Rangers netted six without reply past West Allotment Celtic to
go second, Abigail Phillips netting twice along with Rachel Jackson, Jade Featherstone, Larissa
Burkinshaw and Alex Hodgson. Bishop Auckland also won 6-0 against Prudhoe Town,
Sophie Wood and Beth Allison each bagging braces with Vikki Ryder and Katie Raine adding the
others. Shannon Reed (2) and Paige Hunter were the scorers for Norton & Stockton Ancients
Res in their 3-2 success away to Blyth Town, who were playing their first league game of the
season after a number of cup ties.
Hollie Betts, Olivia Ratcliffe and Laura Maskrey were the markswomen for Southern
Division Altofts Ladies as they beat Millmoor Ladies 3-1. Wakefield Trinity stay two
points behind in second after a 6-0 victory at York RI, Emily Heckler netting a hat-trick along
with Rachel Stuart (2) and Chelsea Pilmer. Millie Sharp (2), Lauren Holmes and Victoria
Stonehouse all scored for Hull Utd in their 4-1 success away to Bradford Park Avenue, whilst
Farsley Celtic Juniors completed a good day for the top four by defeating Hepworth Utd 3-0
thanks to a Sarah Lawn brace and Jasmin Cooper.
North West League
A total of five teams are level on six points at the head of the Premier Division, led by Crewe
Alexandra as they won 6-1 at Wigan Athletic. Morecambe beat Cheadle Town Stingers
2-1 to j0in the leading pack as did Tranmere Rovers with a 4-1 victory over West Didsbury
& Chorlton.
AFC Darwen continued their strong start to the season in Division One North with a
thirteen goal blast against Preston North End, which takes them three points clear. In the other
game, Blackpool notched up their first league victory, 5-0 away to Blackburn Community
SC.
Chester FC Women have opened up a lead of five points at the top of Division One
South following their 4-1 win away to West Kirby. Salford City Lionesses have leapt into
