The Norfolk County FA is delighted to announce that one of their lead partners, Harrod Sport
has agreed to sponsor the 2020-21 Norfolk Women’s Cup Competition.
One of the world’s biggest sports equipment manufacturers signed a three-year
agreement to support Norfolk Football in 2019, and more recently extended that backing
through the company’s new ‘Finesse’ Training range which is an official supporter of the
Norfolk FA Coaches Club.
This latest expansion of the Norfolk FA’s collaboration with the global sports
equipment manufacturers will see their sole female County Cup Competition now known as
The Harrod Sport Women’s Cup.
Harrod Sport, based in Lowestoft, currently provides equipment and goalposts to a
multitude of Premier League Football Clubs, Wembley Stadium and St George’s Park. In
addition to the English game, the organisation also supplies European giants such as Real
Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Paris St Germain.
No strangers to giving back to local causes, The Ron Harrod Foundation was founded
in 2018 by Harrod Sport to provide funding for sportsmen and women under 25 to help them
compete. Named after the company’s late founder Ron Harrod, the foundation has awarded
£5,000 in funding towards local sports people each year since, as well as providing a two-year
sponsorship of the Senior Women’s Team of local grassroots football club Wroxham FC.
The partnership has seen and continues to see Norfolk affiliated football clubs receive
a 35% discount off the trade price of Harrod Sport’s full, world class product range, along with
free carriage. Not to mention significant investment into providing top quality football
equipment to our Football Development facilities.
Having launched their Finesse training equipment range in 2020, Harrod Sport has
extended its support further this season. Norfolk FA Coaches Club members can receive 10%
off all orders, and now the finalists of the Norfolk Women’s Cup will receive a selection of
complimentary Finesse equipment.
