Atkinson. Middlezoy Rovers and Paulton Rovers battled out a goalless draw whilst fourth
placed Weston-super-Mare defeated Stockwood Wanderers 6-0, Natasha Crew netting
twice along with Laura Jones, Jessica Larbey, Beth Popel and Jessie Hughes.
One more win will do for Marine Academy Plymouth in order to put themselves
beyond the reach of their rivals in the Western Division, taking themselves to the verge with a
6-0 victory at Budleigh Salterton. Megan Boulton and Sam Drewery each hit hat-tricks for
MAP whilst Saltash Utd crashed 3-0 at Bideford, who scored through Ruby Clark (2) and
Charlotte Pardoe. Only Sticker Women can still mathematically catch the leaders now and
they climbed into second by beating Feniton 5-2. Chloe Harris and Tori Marks each scored
twice for Sticker, with Grace Liddicoat also on the scoresheet.
Southern Region League
Ascot Utd remain on course for the runners-up spot after they won 5-2 at Winchester City
Flyers. Nicole Brown scored four of the goals and Isabel Woods was also on target, with Katie
Johns and Charlie Snelling replying. Bournemouth Sports meanwhile kept their hopes
alive by beating Wycombe Wanderers, Rosie Eden netting twice and Elly Bobby the other.
Division One North title winners Woodley Utd finished their successful season in
style, winning 5-0 away to Kidlington. Lucy Routledge and Mollie Steadman each bagged
braces and May Hamblin was also on target. Sarah Saunders scored a hat-trick along with
Charlotte Comley, Mollie Dyer and Georgia Winger as runners-up Milton Utd defeated
Eversley & California 6-1, Joanne Harfield replying.
Division One South leaders Badshot Lea shared a 1-1 draw with in-form Abbey
Rangers, Nicola Moore and Rebecca Burtenshaw scoring respectively. Badshot Lea head the
table by four points from AFC Stoneham, who have three games in hand, after they beat
Rushmoor Community 6-2 with goals from Chloe Melton (2), Charlotte Gatehouse (2),
Madison Payne and Rebecca Moody.
West Midlands League
Shrewsbury Town advanced to the semi finals of the Premier Division Cup with a 4-1 victory
over Solihull Sporting, Madison Jones netting twice along with Sarah Lowden and Libby
Veitch. Worcester City defeated Lichfield City 5-1 thanks to a Holly Rogers double, Hollie
Congrave, Georgia Marrett and Leah Ritson, whilst Kirsty Spencer hit a hat-trick for
Crusaders in their 5-0 win away to Redditch Utd, Rachael Dyson and Donna Tompkins
joining her on the scoresheet.
Division One South leaders Coventry Sphinx went through to the semi finals of the
Division One Cup after beating Darlaston Town 8-1, Kirsty Farnsworth and Amanda
Whalley each netting twice along with Christabel Matewe, Jodie McGuckin, Lottie Rosevear
and Angel Scandrett. Knowle meanwhile knocked out Shifnal Town on penalties after a 2-2
draw, Marian Byrne and Demi-Lee Rolph netting for Knowle and Shifnal replying through
Jenna Boddison and Holly Bullock. Natasha Baptiste (2) and Freya Green scored the goals as
Walsall Wood won 3-2 at AFC Telford Utd and Walsall Ladies also notched up a 3-2
victory over Port Vale thanks to Maicie Golding, Aaliyah Shearer and Jasmin Springer.
The one match played in the Premier Division saw leaders Sutton Coldfield Town
held to a goalless draw by Lye Town, meaning they now head the table by four points.
In Division One North, third placed Tamworth shared a 0-0 draw with City of Stoke
whilst Coventry City won 2-0 away to Wyrley Ladies with goals from Sophie Reynolds and
Joanne Ryan.
Bewdley Town have gone third in Division One South, they won 4-3 at Droitwich
Spa with goals from Chelsea Mudge (2), Katie Robinson and Lucy Stephens. Beth Male netted
a brace for Sedgley & Gornal Utd in their 2-2 draw with Long Itchington, who netted
through Humera Ashfaq and Lara Finn. Molly Noble scored the only goal of the game for
Leamington Lions as they won 1-0 away to Kingfisher.
