they reached the Final of the League Cup with a 2-1 win away to Fulham FC Women.
Georgia Tibble and Gemma Worsfold scored the goals for Worthing, with Helen Ogle replying.
Worthing will play Dartford who blasted eleven past Sport London e Benfica, Emily
Vaughan and Paris Smith scoring four and three times respectively, along with braces from
Nicha Dyett and Shauni Griffiths.
Rebecca Wyatt netted twice, with Katie Hardaker, Lizzie Mills and Jade Steadman
adding the others, as Ashford Utd reached the League Trophy Final with a 5-1 victory over
Richmond Park whose consolation came from Carolin Engelhard. Ashford's opponents will
be Clapton Community whose semi final with Newhaven was a much closer affair, Ciara
Robinson separating the sides with the only goal scored in extra time.
Whilst Worthing were in League Cup action, Ebbsfleet Utd replaced them at the top
of the Premier Division by winning 4-0 away to Aylesford. Amelia Woodgate netted a
hat-trick for 'Fleet and Amy Russ was also on target. Millwall Lionesses are now in third
after an Ellen Napper goal gave them a 1-0 victory over Enfield Town. There were plenty of
goals at Sutton Utd where the home side drew 4-4 with Dulwich Hamlet. Lily Dent scored
twice for Sutton along with Jasmine Backhurst and Ella Meehan, whilst Dulwich's scorers were
Beth Hartigan, Chana Hinds, Brittany Saylor and Madison Parsonson.
Brentford's hopes of taking over as Division One North leaders were dashed as they
were held to a 2-2 draw by Hackney. Chloe Logie and Kirsty Matthews scored the goals for
Brentford who remain behind Clapton Community on goal difference whilst Dorking
Wanderers also drew, 1-1 against Denham Utd. Jenny Nagle netted for Denham as they
continued their improving form whilst Katie Butts replied for Dorking, who are three points off
the pace but have four games in hand on the top two. In the other game, Watford
Development ran out 4-0 winners over Leatherhead thanks to first half strikes from
Sophia Amanor (2), Lily Hall and Iva Hrisimova.
Welling Utd are keeping up their pursuit of the top two in Division One South, and
have replaced Eastbourne Utd in third place after beating them 4-1. Olivia McGregor netted
twice for Welling along with Grace Laverick and Amy Panayi, with Beth Chambers replying.
Lauren Harris scored both goals for Herne Bay as they won 2-0 against Bexhill Utd to take
them level on points with Eastbourne and Bromley FC Women, who were 4-0 victors over
Steyning Town Community thanks to a Sylvia Safranovic hat-trick and Olivia Woolacott.
North East League
Leaders Chester-le-Street Town extended their winning run to twelve matches when they
defeated Hull Utd 4-0, Charlotte Proud hitting a hat-trick for the Cestrians and Vikki Ryder
adding the other. They head the table by nine points from South Shields who won 3-1 at
Redcar Town with goals from Eve Gatens (2) and Jennifer Wootten, with Wakefield a
further point adrift in third after a Neve Renwick double, Amelia Hunt and Rebecca Hunt took
them to a 4-1 victory over Wallsend Boys Club. In terms of points dropped, Chester-le-
Street's nearest rivals are Alnwick Town who kept their hopes alive by scoring ten times
without reply past Harrogate Town. Michelle Stewart and Katie Ellwood netted a hat-trick
apiece for Alnwick and they were joined on the scoresheet by Emily Henderson, Chloe Young,
Sophie Williams and Catherine Johnston.
The top three at the start of play were not in action in the Northern Division, allowing
Hartlepool Utd a chance to climb up to third and they did so with a 4-3 win away to Norton
& Stockton Ancients Res. Jessica Bage, Robyn Foster, Cheyanna Burnett-Griffith and Sara
Robson were the markswomen for Hartlepool, with Robyn Wrigley (2) and Maddie Myers
replying. Holly Doogan scored the only goal of the game for Chester-le-Street Utd in their
1-0 success away to Guisborough Town and Bishop Auckland won 5-3 against
Hartlepool Pools Youth, Katie Raine and Natasha Napier each scoring twice along with
Emma Wright.
Southern Division leaders Barnsley FC Ladies scored six times without reply past
Harworth Colliery and this keeps them six points ahead of Handsworth who defeated
Ripon City 4-2 with goals from Danielle Pinder (2), Jade Richards and Caitlan Tattershall.
Altofts Ladies meanwhile kept up their challenge by beating Bradford Park Avenue 4-0,
