League Cup
       Nottingham Forest are through to the semi finals
       after  narrowly  getting  the  better  of  Burnley  FC
       Women with a 2-1 victory. In a battle between two
       Northern Premier Division title hopefuls, Charlotte Steggles gave Forest the lead from the
       penalty spot and substitute Gianna Mitchell netted the second, before Alyssa Mae Aherne
       gave Burnley late hope when she pulled a goal back.
           Portsmouth  also  advanced  after  returning  from  the  long  trip  to  Plymouth
       Argyle with a 3-0 victory under their belts. Sophie Quirk gave Pompey the lead during the
       first half and they went on to seal the win after the break with further goals from Tierney
       Scott and Ella Humphrey.
           The draw for the semi finals is as follows:
            Watford or Milton Keynes Dons v Wolverhampton W or Hudddersfield Town
                              Nottingham Forest v Portsmouth
       League Plate
       Southampton Women caused a surprise and booked their place in the last four when
       they defeated Billericay Town 4-3. Rachel Okoro was the heroine for Southampton as
       she hit a hat-trick, with Chloe Tucker adding the others, whilst Billericay's replies came
       from Karesha Iton, Beau Parker and Mia Robins.
           Crawley Wasps join them after they ousted Cheltenham Town on a penalty
       shootout, after the teams had battled out a 2-2 draw. Selin Buyukgiray scored both goals
       for Crawley, whilst Cheltenham netted through a brace from Issy Newns, before Crawley
       emerged as 5-4 winners from the spot.
           The semi final draw has been made:
                          Hull City or Stourbridge v Crawley Wasps
                      Fylde Women or Leeds Utd v Southampton Women
       Northern Premier Division
       Derby County made up ground on the top three when they defeated Stoke City 5-1 in
       the only match to be played in the division. Amy Sims and Rebecca McGrother put the
       Ewes two goals ahead at half time and Sims went on to complete her hat-trick after the
       break, either side of a reply from Roisin Kivel, and Camille Jenkins rounded off the scoring
       in injury time.
           The  hat-trick  from  Sims  has  returned  to  the  top  of  the  division’s  scoring  charts,
       taking her tally for the season to 14.
       Southern Premier Division
       Ipswich Town have gone back level on points with Portsmouth after they won 2-1
       away to London Bees. The scoreline was goalless at the interval but second half goals
       from  Sophie  Peskett  and  Natasha  Thomas  earned  Ipswich  the  points,  despite  Ellena
       Finneran replying for the Bees.
       Division One North
       Durham Cestria have gone four points clear at the top of the table following their 2-0
       victory away to fifth placed Middlesbrough. Jordan Atkinson put the Cestrians in front
       shortly before half time and Poppy Pritchard secured an eighth straight win in the league
       for her side when she scored the second, eight minutes from time.
