Highway.
Wolverhampton Wanderers kept up their winning form with a 3-1 success
against Leeds Utd. Anna Price netted a double and Leonie Joyce added the other, whilst
Laura Bartup had the consolation of being the first player to score a goal in competitive play
against Wolves this season.
Milton Keynes Dons produced a strong display in winning 7-1 against
Keynsham Town. Cherrelle Albert and Jade Bell each scored twice for the Dons along with
Laura Bright, Vicky Neal and Rhianne Rush, with Kerry Bartlett replying.
Ellie Gilliatt hit a hat-trick as Derby County powered through with a 7-0 victory
over Lincoln City. Bolu Fisher weighed in with a brace for the Ewe Rams and they were
joined on the scoresheet by Amy Sims and Precious Hamilton.
Three second half goals carried Brighouse Town to a 4-1 win against Holwell
Sports. Annabelle Cass was on target twice along with substitutes Cara Fields and Ellie
White, whilst Holwell's consolation came from Chantelle Robinson.
AFC Fylde Women have been in fantastic form since the start of the season, which
they continued by scoring nine times without reply past FC United of Manchester. Mel
Bartley hit a hat-trick for the Coasters and there were doubles from Sasha Rowe and Jodie
Redgrave, whilst Faye McCoy and Olivia Fuller added the others.
Rebecca Knight was another hat-trick scorer, for Stoke City as they defeated
Solihull Moors 7-0. Callan Barber added two whilst the tally was completed by Roisin
Kivel and an own goal.
Jordan Atkinson was the extra time heroine for Durham Cestria, scoring twice as
they won 3-1 against Stockport County. Jessica Mett was Durham's other scorer during
normal time.
Katie Barker and Georgia Gibson shared the goals between them, bagging a hat-trick
apiece for Newcastle Utd as they ran out 6-0 winners against Leek Town.
Crawley Wasps meanwhile netted eleven times past London Seaward,
spearheaded by a hat-trick from Imogen Lancaster. Charlotte Owen and Emma Plewa added
two apiece and they were joined on the scoresheet by Naomi Cole, Florence Jackson, Tash
Stephens and Iesha Swaby.
Chorley's trip to the north east turned out to be a successful one, winning 6-2 away
to Alnwick Town. Elli Cleary and Ellie Mills each scored twice along with Carra Jones and
Katie Matthews, whilst the home side's replies came from Sophie Williams and Jade Barrett.
Norton & Stockton Ancients powered to a 10-2 victory against Wem Town,
spearheaded by a five-goal haul from Bianca Owens. Lily Patrick weighed in with a hat-trick
and the tally was completed by Sophie Tierney and Jordan Moore.
Barnsley meanwhile put their league results behind them to beat Sporting
Khalsa 2-0 and progress into the Cup. Sheldon Ashton gave Barnsley a first half lead, with
Nat Shaw adding the second on the stroke of half time.
Nichole Havery found the net twice, both times from the penalty spot, and Beth
Gardener also got on the scoresheet as Chester-le-Street Town went through with a 3-0
victory over Leafield Athletic.
Burton Albion's trip to Bedworth Utd saw them make it into the Cup with a 5-2
success. Emily Gillott was on target twice for the Brewers along with Bethany Naqwi,
Hanaiya Azhar and Emmalee Hornsby, whilst Bedworth responded through Kirsty
Farnsworth and Charlotte Taylor.
Tiana Hicks bagged a brace, with Molly Boultbee and Lucie Johnstone accounting for
the other goals, as Long Eaton Utd ran out 4-1 winners over Peterborough Utd, whose
consolation came from Kier Perkins.
