Llandudno held onto the leadership of the North Division on Sunday with a 4-0 victory over
Llanfair Utd. Things remain tight at the top of the division with a single point covering the
top three teams and goals from Jasmin Dutton, Ffion Owen, Stacey Tradewell and Maisy
Johnson ensured that Llandudno kept their noses in front. Connah’s Quay Nomads stay
second following a ten-goal blast against Denbigh Town, Kirstie Kural scoring four times and
Francesca Scott contributing a hat-trick. Tamara Hamer, Kylie Jones and Jennifer Haynes
weighed in with the other goals for the Nomads. The prolific Rosie Hughes meanwhile hit
another hat-trick for Wrexham as they defeated Airbus UK Broughton 6-2. Amber
Lightfoot added a brace and Rebecca Pritchard the other for Wrexham, who stay one point off
the pace, whilst Tegan Hewitt and Natalie Harrison replied for the visitors.
Abergavenny Women have gone five points clear at the top of the South Division,
thanks to a 2-0 victory away to Swansea University. Lauren Boyd gave Aber the lead midway
through the first half and Maxine Mudge added the second after the break. Cascade Youth
Club meanwhile replaced Briton Ferry Llansawel in second place after winning their
meeting 2-1. Bethan Lloyd and Annaliese Lewis were on target for Cascade, with Lucy Powell
replying. Talycopa LAFC won a high scoring affair, 7-4 against Merthyr Town. Bronwyn
Ridd led the scoring for Talycopa with a four-goal haul Amelia Thomas (2) and Ebony Martens
adding the others. Isabella Kaler bagged a brace for Merthyr, whose other goals came from
Amy Davies and Ella Howells.
