East Midlands League
Northampton Town marched into the quarter finals of the League Cup with a seven-goal
victory against Sleaford Town. Alexandra Dicks led the scoring with a hat-trick and she was
joined on the scoresheet by Leah Cudone, Alex Bartlett, Chloe Martin and Georgia Tear.
Oughtibridge WM also eased through by beating Nottingham Trent University 11-1, Lucy
Ridley netted four times and Millie Kenyon hit a hat-trick, and there was one apiece from Laura
Cain, Emma Wall, Laura Watton and Emily Fowler. The tie of the round went the way of Lincoln
Utd, who won 4-0 against Chesterfield thanks to doubles from Abigail Murrell and Lucy
Farrow. The two respective leaders of Division One North and South came face to face and it was
Derby County Academy who triumphed 4-1 over Arnold Eagles, courtesy of a goal apiece
from Laila Abadi, Stephanie Kingston, Amelia Towers and Nicola Pludra. Notts County ran out
9-1 winners over Coalville Town Ravenettes and Loughborough Students defeated Rise
Park 7-1 thanks to a Maddie Fox hat-trick, Eve Timbrell (2), Nour Aboul Kheir and Megan Lord.
Isabella Hodson scored a hat-trick for Nottingham Forest Development in their 8-0 victory
against Notts County Development, with Jessica Abdy, Harley Scott and Maja Kocik also on
target alongside two own goals.
One match was played in the First Round of the League Plate, Loughborough Foxes
Vixens progressing with a 2-1 win away to Oadby & Wigston. Katie Stone and Leandra
Whelband scored the goals for Loughborough, with Samantha Hargrave replying.
Eastern Region League
Wymondham Town further extended their Premier Division lead to nine points with a 4-1
victory over King's Lynn Town. Hannah Waters netted twice for the leaders along with
Rebecca Russell and Kyla Love, with Ella Gavaghan replying. Defeat for King's Lynn means that
Luton Town replace them in third after sharing a 3-3 draw with Bedford Ladies. Camille
Angol, Natasha Fensome and Carisa Kaczorowski all scored for Bedford, whilst Luton netted
through Jess McKay, Leyah Maddix and an own goal. Angel Lyden, Katie Stancombe and Tia
Everdell accounted for the goals as St Ives Town won 3-2 against Haringey Borough 3-2.
In Division One North, leaders Needham Market won 9-0 against Cambridge City
Development to open up a lead of four points. Lina Nagib hit a hat-trick, Molly Hall and Nicole
Pannifer added two apiece and the tally was completed by Eleanor Rossiter and Jodie Sharp.
Barking have climbed into third place in Division One South with a 3-0 victory over
Hutton, thanks to a hat-trick from Laura Bunton. Billericay Town Development meanwhile
won for the first time, 6-1 against East Bergholt Utd with goals from Hannah Phillips (2), Lisa
Robins (2), Rebecca Gallacher and Sophie Nyiro.
Newmarket Town have gone through to the Third Round of the League Cup after
beating Haverhill Rovers on a penalty shootout, after the teams had shared a 2-2 draw.
Charlotte Westrope was on target twice for Haverhill, while Dominika Szary and Katie Webb
scored the goals for Newmarket who went on to win 3-1 from the spot.
London & South East League
Dartford held on to the leadership of the Premier Division with a 7-1 victory away to
Aylesford. Nicha Dyett was on target twice for the Darts along with Georgie Davis, Charlie
Torry, Emily Vaughan, Joanne Woodgates and Elizabeth Adams. Ashford Town (Middlesex)
defeated Denham Utd 6-1 and stay one point off the pace, with games in hand. Lavana
Neufville, Ashley Cheatley, Ruby Linton, Rozalia Sitarz, Alissa Down and Jade Johnson all
scored a goal apiece. Despite a goal from Kiz Fergus, third placed New London Lionesses lost
ground as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Worthing FC Women. Chloe Burr netted twice and
Molly Hawkins added the other as Millwall Lionesses won 3-0 at Dulwich Hamlet and
Fulham FC Women beat Saltdean Utd 3-1, Ellie Olds bagging a hat-trick.
One match was played in Division One North, Sutton Utd opening up a lead of three
points as they won 7-1 against Watford Development. Olivia Watson led the scoring with a
