consolation came from Karima Elouath.
Division One North leaders Milton Utd returned to action with a victory, Charlotte
Comley (2) and Katie Miller scoring the goals as they won 3-1 against Carterton Ladies,
whose consolation came from Zoe Pugh. Woodley Utd remain two points behind in second
place, Lucy Routledge, Michelle Quinn and Madelyn Sawyer accounting for the goals in their
3-0 victory over Long Crendon. Penn & Tyler's Green meanwhile drew for the fifth
time, Emma Nolan netting twice as they shared four goals with Kidlington, for whom
Isabelle Thacker and Courtney Sumner were on target. Sam Thoreau meanwhile scored for
Caversham Utd in their 1-1 draw with Eversley & California, who netted through Rae
       Roberts.
       West Midlands League
Shrewsbury Town made up ground with a 9-1 victory against Redditch Utd, which
included a four-goal haul from Libby Veitch and a Madison James hat-trick. Zoe Child and
Leanne Rimmer added the Shrews' other goals, with Jade Guppy replying. Millie Drinkhall,
Emily Gillott and Hajrah Mahmood were all on target for Burton Albion as they shared a
3-3 draw with Lye Town, who netted through Sian Johnson, Caitlyn Walton and Rhiannon
       Bate.
Shifnal Town have gone four points clear at the top of Division One North after
winning their top of the table clash 4-0 against Walsall Ladies. Rebecca-Lee Bown was on
target twice for Shifnal along with Jenna Boddison and Leila Hopkins. Coventry City
received a setback to their challenge as they were beaten 2-0 by AFC Telford Utd, whose
scorers were Jaime Duggan and Kaitlyn Richards. Catherine Harris and Elle Haywood were
the markswomen for Tamworth in their 2-0 victory over Darlaston Town.
Coventry Sphinx made it seven wins out of seven in Division One South, narrowing
the gap on leaders Knowle to six points in the process, when they defeated Rugby Town
9-0. Kirsty Farnsworth and Milly Miller both bagged hat-tricks, Anaya O'Brien added a brace
and Amanda Whalley was also on the scoresheet. Grace Field, Nicola Finlay and Gemma
Taylor-Whitehead were the markswomen for Sedgley & Gornal Utd in their 3-0 victory
       over Rugby Borough.
Port Vale progressed in the Division One Cup when a Macy Isherwood double earned
them a 2-0 success away to Leamington Lions. Also through are Walsall Wood after
they ran out 9-2 winners over Long Itchington, Natasha Baptiste scoring four times along
with Rosie Hargreaves (2) ,Rhiannon Armstrong, Tayler Davies and Beth James.

The third round ties were finally completed when holders Huddersfield Town ran out 9-0
winners over Dronfield Town, the Regional League visitors giving a creditable account of
themselves against their FAWNL hosts. Somewhat unusually, all nine goals were scored by
different players - Katie Anderson, Kiera Heslam, Laura Hulme, Hannah Langford, Alice
Linsell, Kate Mallin, Yasmin, Mia Parry and Brittany Sanderson getting one apiece.
With their pitch at the Home of Football suffering from the recent adverse weather,
Sheffield FC’s quarter final tie against Barnsley was not surprisingly postponed due to a
waterlogged pitch. As in their last 16 game against Socrates in the previous round, switching
to an all weather pitch enabled the competition to progress, but unfortunately for Sheffield,
despite opening the scoring with a fine strike from distance by captain Alex O’Neill they
ended up losing 3-1. Barnsley levelled through Emily Pierrepont and a brace from Brooke
Marsden before the interval put them in control. There was no further scoring in the tie
played at the Olympic Legacy Park which will be the new home base for County League outfit
       Sheffield City next season.
