Chorley leapt out of the bottom three with a 4-1 victory away to York City. Jessica Gillin
spearheaded the win for the Magpies with a hat-trick and Sophie Rotheram was also on target,
with Jessica Heald replying.
Bradford City gave their survival hopes a large boost by winning 5-0 against Merseyrail
Ladies. Arianne Parnham bagged a hat-trick and she was joined on the scoresheet by Sandra
Martins and Charlotte Stuart.
Division One Midlands
There was some consolation for Stourbridge following their defeat in the League Plate Final,
with the news that second placed Doncaster Rovers Belles were beaten 2-1 by Leek Town.
Chantelle Gallagher netted a second half winner to give Leek's survival chances a huge shot in the
arm, adding to Katie Maya's first half strike. Sophie Scargill netted a consolation for the Belles,
who still trail the Glassgirls by seven points with six games left.
Northampton Town meanwhile replaced Sporting Khalsa in third place after coming
from behind to win their meeting 2-1. Megan Cann gave Khalsa the lead but Jade Bell equalised
on the stroke of half time and Beth Artemiou netted the winner with nine minutes remaining.
A win would have taken Peterborough Utd into the top three but they were held to a 1-1
draw by Sheffield FC. Tara Kirk did put the Posh Women ahead in the second minute, before
an equaliser on the half hour from Matilda Hallas-Potts earned Sheffield a share of the spoils.
Leafield Athletic are back in the top half of the table following their 5-0 victory over
Long Eaton Utd. Daisy-Mai Clements and Jessica Lowe both bagged braces for Leafield and
Kathryn Pagan was also on target.
Division One South East
AFC Wimbledon are not giving up the fight in the title race and closed the gap on leaders
Hashtag Utd to a single point once again after winning 4-2 away to Queen's Park Rangers.
Ellie Dorey was on target twice for the Dons along with an Emma Plewa penalty and an own goal,
whilst Rangers' replies came from Laura Hennessy and Kasha Petit.
In the other game, Actonians Ladies leapfrogged Norwich City into fifth place after
beating them 4-1. SophieBaigent, Dominika Netschova, Sophia Sharos and Jasmine Williamson
all netted a goal apiece for Actonians, with Natasha Snelling replying.
Division One South West
The top two did not play on Sunday and Moneyfields are back up into third place after staging
a dramatic comeback to win 3-2 away to Swindon Town. The home side raced into a two-goal
lead inside the opening quarter of the game, thanks to a brace of goals from Annabelle Colston,
but Gemma Simmonds brought the Moneys back into the game on the half hour. After the break,
Kim Whitcombe netted twice, the second of which came from the penalty spot, to complete the
turnaround.
Southampton Women follow on in fifth as they battled out a 2-2 draw with
Maidenhead Utd, who edged a further point closer towards safety. Gabriella Tchuenkam gave
Southampton a first half lead, with Maidenhead hitting back to go in front with goals either side
of half time from Megan Halfacree and Natalie Cowell. Tchuenkam then scored her second to
earn the Sirens a share of the spoils.
Keynsham Town continued their improving form and are up into mid-table following an
11-1 victory over AFC St Austell, who are now condemned to finish in the bottom two. Naomi
Clipston had a great day in front of goal, leading the scoring with a five-goal haul, and strike
partner Vicky Vipond weighed in with a hat-trick. Mackenzie Rastatter, Justine Lorton and Lily
Reed also got on the scoresheet, whilst the visitors' consolation came from Eve-Charlotte Moore.
Reserve Section round-up
Durham Cestria extended their Northern Division lead to nine points after they scored nine
times without reply against second placed Leeds Utd. Oumou Donzo was on target five times
and Ellie Wise bagged a hat-trick, with Ella Rowell adding the other. Middlesbrough
meanwhile ran out 5-0 winners over Huddersfield Town, Lydia Maidens netting twice along
with Molly Povey, Emily Fewster and Ruby Oxburgh. Flossie Jones and Grace Malone were the
