Glasgow City came from behind to beat Hibernian 2-1 and stay two points cleae at the
top of the league. After Michaela McAlonie had put Hibs ahead just before half time,
Jenna Clark equalised for City with a towering header and an unfortunate own goal by
Liana Hinds gave them a vital win.
Rangers powered back into winning form with a ten-goal victory over Glasgow
Women,
who may have caught a backlash after two draws in a row. Colette Cavanagh led the
scoring whilst Lizzie Arnot and Nicola Docherty weighed in with a brace apiece, and they
were joined on the scoresheet by Katherine Hill, Kirsty Howat and Lisa Martinez-
Douarche.
Celtic kept themselves firmly in the running by winning 7-0 against Dundee Utd.
After Clarissa Larisey had given Celtic a third minute lead, Shen Mengyu went on to score
a hat-trick whilst Amy Gallacher, Maria McAneny and Tiree Burchill accounted for the
other goals.
Hearts have cemented themselves in fourth place following their 5-0 victory over
Hamilton Academical. Georgia Timms gave them the lead and Cailin Michie made it
two before the interval and in the second half, Katie Rood netted twice with Jenny Smith
adding the other goal.
The points were shared at Aberdeen where the home side battled out a 1-1 draw
with Spartans. Both goal came in the five minute spell leading up to half time, Francesca
Ogilvie giving Aberdeen the lead and Louise Mason equalising with a spectacular 25-yard
strike two minutes later.
The other match in the top flight between Motherwell and Partick Thistle
