of over 2,000 but it was the visitors who stole the show as Natasha Thomas scored twice along
with Sarah Brasero-Carriera, Anna Grey and Bonnie Horwood.
Milton Keynes Dons meanwhile moved above London Bees in the table after
winning their meeting 2-0. Mollie Coupar and Nicole Pepper scored the goals as the Dons
ended a run of four league games without a win.
Division One North
Durham Cestria are the new leaders of Division One North following their 1-0 victory
against York City. Ellen Turnbull scored the only goal of the game, shortly before the hour
mark, to take the Wildcats top for the first time this season.
Four games were played in the division on Sunday and only one of them produced more
than one goal, at Stockport County where the home side drew 1-1 with mid-table Hull
City. Maria Figueiredo opened the scoring for fifth placed Stockport five minutes into the
second half, before they were pegged back by a late equaliser from Liberty Bott.
Middlesbrough picked up their fifth victory of the season, 1-0 against Merseyrail
Ladies. Jessica Dawson scored the goal during the first half, to bring an end to Merseyrail's
five-match unbeaten league run.
It was a good day for Chorley as they won for the first time in six matches and the
result takes them out of the bottom two. Sophie Rotheram was on target as the Magpies
defeated Norton & Stockton Ancients 1-0.
Division One Midlands
Leafield Athletic's hopes of climbing into third place in the table were dashed as they were
beaten 3-2 by Lincoln City. Lucy Farrow twice gave Lincoln the lead, with Chloe Shirley and
Leonie Joyce equalising on each occasion, before Jessica Rousseau scored the winner with
five minutes remaining, giving the Lady Imps a result which lifts them up into mid-table.
Wem Town also picked up three important points when they defeated Long Eaton
Utd 8-1. Kim Bebbington kept up her good form by leading the scoring with a hat-trick, Katie
Doster weighed in with a brace and they were joined on the scoresheet by Taylor Davis,
Antonia Kingscott and Sasha Woodhouse, with Sommer Smith replying.
Division One South East
Actonians Ladies moved away from potential danger with a 4-0 victory away to Chesham
Utd. Jasmine Williamson bagged a brace and she was joined on the scoresheet by Maria
Ledezma-Wiso and Roschelle Shakes.
Sarah Wiltshire had a great day for Cambridge Utd against Hounslow Women, the
former Wales international scoring six times and half of their total overall. Francesca
Partridge contributed a hat-trick and the tally was completed by Lauren Rouse, Sydnie Naylor
and Alysha Stojko-Down.
On Tuesday night, Hounslow's problems continued as they suffered another heavy
defeat, this time at the hands of Actonians. Jasmine Williamson was on target four times
whilst Georgia Goldsworthy and T'yana Nee-Chambers each begged hat-tricks, whilst Molly
O'Reilly (2), Rhiannon Ishmael, Shauna Munnelly and Roschelle Shakes accounted for the
other goals.
Division One South West
Cardiff City Ladies march on at the top of the table, taking advantage of their rivals' County
Cup duties to go five points clear with a 3-0 victory away to Maidenhead Utd. Kerry Bartlett
gave Cardiff the lead after four minutes and they went on to add further goals after the break
from Chloe Lloyd and Grace Horrell.
The upsurge in form from Larkhall Athletic continues and they claimed a second
straight win, 1-0 against Keynsham Town to lift themselves out of the bottom two. The only
goal of the game came with seventeen minutes remaining when Larks captain Mia Brain
followed up to score after Keynsham goalkeeper Charlotte Haynes had saved Emily Arrell's
initial free kick.
