After gathering our wits, we go out to Glencar falls and take

some pictures of black faced sheep. The wind is blowing at a

tremendous rate. Then we go back to Roses Pt. The beautiful

green color is gone when we arrive but as we get out of the car

and I’m setting up my tripod with my umbrella over my head.

All the Gods smile. There are red boats and I am aligning my

polarizer for the shot when the sun comes out and the green

returns to the water and then the most amazing rainbow

appears in exactly the right spot behind the boats. I snap off

some shots (who knows how many) and then it is over and the
light is gone – the rainbow is gone - but I am so excited I

almost wet my pants. M got a few shots too but she lost the
quick release for her tripod so she couldn’t use it and isn’t sure

she got a good shot hand held. HOPE SHE DID! I used

Kodachrome 64 in the camera and everything was set right.
