It is a court cairn in another
field. We are pretty brazen and
climb over a fence to get closer.
We continue on to Silver Strand
Beach which M says is one of
the world’s most perfect.
Ireland landscapes:
Apparently 82% of visitors to
Ireland come for the scenery
which is hardly surprising. Sculpted over the millennia by both
natural and human forces Irelands' landscapes have been
formed into no end
of dramatic photo
opts!
A herd of cows live
at the top of the cliff
– they are as
unimpressed as we
are by a group of
Japanese tourists
who arrive, jump
out of their car,
snap photos, jump back into their car and drive off in 60
seconds or less.
As for the beach itself…we look down on it from a cliff. I take a
panorama (series of 3 pix) and put them together later in
Adobe Photoshop. There is a long staircase down to the beach
which we can’t see from our first vantage point.
