The Food bank has been working from our URC small hall for over
six weeks now and we are so grateful to have received a very
warm welcome from our church. The teams are very much
enjoying working from there, and have sensed the welcome in the
building and the friendly greetings.
Our church is known as the friendly place by all who enter its doors,
and as we reach out and welcome in the community. Let us be
Christ’s hands and mouth enabling our Church to be the centre of
justice, joy, friendship and love.
Jesus said – ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all
nd
your soul, and with all your mind and with all your strength. The 2
commandment is this: Love your neighbour as you love yourself.’
There is no other commandment greater than these.
We pray that these words rule our thoughts, words and actions.
